We continue our engagement in a search for a med-surge hospital Chief Operating Officer. This is an opportunity for one who would like to fast track their career progression to a hospital Chief Executive Officer position. Our client wants to establish “bench strength” with in the company from which to promote internally to the CEO role. This would create a situation where a COO would get to know the organization and further establish their skills sets and experience. The candidates who are considered most qualified are those who are currently working in an operations role within a for-profit med-surge acute care hospital and can present a progression of positive career development in management and leadership roles in hospital operations. Superior people skills and communication skills will be a distinguishing qualification. Obviously, candidates must have the willingness (open) to relocate to where the opportunity to become a CEO will present itself. Please contact Brad Arnold for further information and to engage in a confidential discussion about this COO position.
