General Function:  The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for the overall administration, sales, operational and financial performance of the company. The CEO is expected to provide overall leadership, direction, management, development and successful achievement of the business objectives of the company of this $15 million Home Health company.

             Specific Responsibilities and Priorities:

  • Establish a positive leadership style, accessible and involved with a ‘hands on’ presence to the management, sales and operations team and clients of the company.
  • Establish organizational and functional structure for the company.
  • Coordinate the activities and direction and responsibilities of the management team to develop and achieve short and long term objectives.
  • Maintain overall P&L responsibility and operating results inclusive of reviewing and approving financial reports, budgets, client contracts; review and approval of medical services, charges for services with knowledge of reimbursement strategies and issues; reviewing and approving major expenditures and effective cost controls.
  • Provide the operational thrust to expand service offerings and increased revenue streams
  • Provide a significant presence and role in client development
  • Display a willingness to be hands on as necessary to resolve issues and redirect
  • Be proactive in establishing and maintaining performance standards of the company.
